CHALLENGE
Serving a population of 250,000 children, 0% of Manhattan public schools offer a track & field activity or club as part of their after-school programming –leaving an emerging generation of Manhattan residents without any structured opportunity to experience the mind-body developmental benefits of this sport &, additionally, there are no registered nonprofit or private USA Track & Field clubs in Manhattan catering to ages 6-18 years.

SOLUTION
Establishment of a nonprofit organization, registered to compete in USATF meets, & designed expressly for Manhattan resident children, ages 6-18 years with a mission to provide professional training plus individual mentoring that fosters a mind-body approach to achieving one's goals through the pursuit of excellence in track & field athletics. Development of a brand identity, website & social media presence, PR initiatives, donor & funding for supporting costs associated with an all-season practice venue, plus local & national meet attendance fees & travel costs. The Guialdo family is ranked one of the Top 5 highest achieving families in the sport of track & field in the US. Ron Guialdo attended Kansas State University on a full track scholarship, as did all of his four siblings, benefitting from a strict, Trinidadian-born mother, who was the Overall Womens West Indies Track Champion in both 1959 & 1960.
